August 5, 2008 This page will ultimately be used when I'm on the
road (late 2009) to express thoughts and feelings that are not specifically
related to an event or destination. It will be a sort of diary, updated
regularly, with a new page monthly. For example, if I stay a few days at
a particular spot, and have already updated the Journal with an accompanying
album of photographs, I might feel the extra need to waffle on about something
or other. It could be about making a damper over a campfire, or about a
bunch of new friends I meet, or about a trip into town for a beer at the
local pub. It could be about my thoughts in relation to being a traveler
of no fixed abode - a wanderer and vagabond. In any case, the Journal and
this page will be separate entities, each recording a different aspect
of the Odyssey. Gary
