August 5, 2008 The purpose of this page is to express thoughts and
feelings that are not specifically related to an event or destination.
It will be a sort of diary, updated regularly, with a new page monthly.
For example, if I stay a few days at a particular spot, and have already
updated the Journal with an accompanying album of photographs, I might
feel the extra need to waffle on about something or other. It could be
about making a damper over a campfire, or about a bunch of new friends
I meet, or about a trip into town for a beer at the local pub. It could
be about my thoughts in relation to being a traveler of no fixed abode
- a wanderer and vagabond. In any case, the Journal and this page will
be separate entities, each recording a different aspect of the Odyssey.
